Profile

Born into a retail minded family I was exposed to the jewelry industry at an early age. Both my parents worked at large companies, one a manager the other a head buyer. I had a chance to accompany both my parents to their place of work. That is when my love for jewelry started. After several years my parents decided to join efforts and open their own store. It was there that I was first introduced to “the bench” In my early teens I started to polish the customers pieces at my parents store. Later I started to explore with different apprenticing jobs, with a caster, a repair shop, and even a small manufacturer. But the greatest break was when I apprenticed with a master jeweler. After several years and extensive training in restoration, wax carving, designing and restyling, I felt it was time to branch out on my own.

I love to create unusual pieces with an emphasis on practical wearability. My work is done in casting , fabrication, and sometimes both. In addition to my work I also pride myself in using a wide variety of unique and colorful gemstones to help electrify my pieces. I feel very fortunate to be in a career that is so satisfying and creative. I look forward to the future, and to pushing the boundaries of my designs and talent.
